Campus Buch Symposium 2011

The Campus Buch Symposium is a meeting organized by PhD
students from the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine (MDC) and Leibniz-Institut
für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP) and is jointly supported by the Helmholtz Graduate
School of the MDC and the PhD-Training Committee of the FMP. PhD students, young scientists
and prospective students are welcome to get together for this one-day event to present their
research and gain a better understanding of each other’s work. We cordially invite all
interested PhD students, be it from the FMP, MDC or another Helmholtz Institution, to
present their work.
PhD students from Helmholtz Centers
We are pleased to extend the invitation to students from the Helmholtz Centers
working in biological life sciences. Successful candidates presenting a poster or talk will
be hosted at the Campus guesthouse and reimbursed for travel expenses.
Prospective Graduate Students from Berlin
Furthermore we would like to take the opportunity to present the Campus to prospective students
from the Berlin-Brandenburg area to meet young scientists and see their work at the Campus Berlin-Buch.
All student’s talks and posters will be evaluated by a jury of MDC and FMP scientists and will enter the
competition of 'Best Talk' and 'Best Posters'. The day will finish with the PhD certificate award ceremony of the HGS and
a dinner party.
The Campus Buch Symposium is open to everyone interested in the research and technological developments
at both the MDC and the FMP on the Campus Berlin-Buch. We encourage students, undergraduates and post-doctoral
scientist to join the symposium!
